Chinese Style Refreshments--Baked Streaky Pork-Filled Moon Cakes

Ingredients: flour, lard, maltose, minced streaky pork, salt, gourmet powder, soy, sugar, sorghum wine, ginger shreds, pepper, sesame oil, water


  1. Mix some of the flour with lard to make a shortening. Add maltose, lard and boiled water in the remained flour and mix them well to make dough. Put the streaky pork in a bowl and add the seasonings above to make a filling.
  2. Place the shortening in the dough. Roll it out into flat circles and put the filling in. pinch the edges to seal them and pat slightly into cakes with your hand.
  3. Heat the pan and put the cakes in (upside down) one by one. Bake till done (turn over the cakes when baking). Remove and serve.
