Mix the butter with shelled corns well to make a filling. Remove the juice from the cabbages. Put the leaves in water and bring to a boil. Mix 100g starch with the done cabbages well to make green dough.
Add boiled water to the starch, cheese powder and powdered sugar and mix them well. Add some water chestnut powder and lard. Make the mixture into dough. Roll out the dough into thin flat circles and add the filling on them. Pinch the edges and shape them like maize ears. Make corn-like stripes on the dumplings.
Make 2 strips from the green dough. Flat and stripe them in the shape of maize leaves. Put them on two sides of the dumplings and steam in a food steamer for 5 minutes. Remove and serve.
