Built about in 1934, Kaiwen Apartment House is located at 525 Hengshan Road and also named Cavendish Court. The iron railings under the windows and the simple geometry vignettes on the window frames feature the style of Art Deco, while the concave-convex shaped walls between floors and the mahogany facing tiles on the walls between windows follow the style of modern construction by stressing the horizontal lines.
