At 1 Yueyang Road is the former residence of Sasson (a Jewish-English). It is a two-storey building and the middle of the terrace protrudes from the south front with a semi-circular shape. The outer walls are covered with red bricks in the first floor and surfaced by black paint in the second floor. The foundation is constructed of stones. The circular arches above the doors and windows as well as the mat-shaped brick patterns on the fanlights demonstrate the style of Northern European.
