Located at 269 Dajing Road, Dajing Pavilion was one of the famous tourist attractions in shanghai before and was built on Shanghai city wall, which was initiated in 1553 (the 32nd year under reign of Jia Jing of the Ming Dynasty) to resist the Japanese invasion. It is also called Dajing Guandi Temple for Guan Yu, a senior general of Shu in the period of the Three Kingdoms, is worshiped in the temple.
